It may be offensive to people that we are dating and I have said he is newly divorced, though the final time frame is in a few days for it be to completely 100% over, but both he and his ex have moved on. I have been dating my boyfriend for over 2 years, we have known each other for about 3 and a half. IMO, and this is just me....first impressions count. I put a guy on trial in the beginning. If he starts doing things I don't like, I kick him to the curb. Like Johan and Tac719's girl, I too, am a perfectionist with incredibly high standards for myself and everyone around me. Since I'm the first born it was drummed into my head from a young age I had to be the 'best' or else I'd be nothing. My parents were always like 80 isn't good enough.. why didn't you get 90 or over? Or I'd get 90% and they'd be like "Why didn't you get 100%?
